James Blunt's wife signed him up for The Celebrity Traitors and he had to "speed watch" the previous series to find out what he was getting himself into.

The You're Beautiful singer is one of the famous faces taking part in the game of deception, which returns to screens next week, but he's admitted he had to "speed watch" the previous series before heading up to film at Cardross Castle in Scotland because he had never seen the show before and only knew about his own involvement after spouse Sofia Wellesley agreed to it on his behalf.
Appearing on The One Show, James said: "I haven't watched much TV and I found out from my wife that I was on Celebrity Traitors, she signed me up for it. So I was given a speed-watch of the whole thing."
James appeared on the programme alongside last year's finalist Joe Marler, and the rugby ace is confident the 52-year-old singer can win this year.
Discussing potential favourites, Joe said: "It's James! As soon as that cast was revealed, I was like, it's James Blunt, he's going to be the dark horse. I've admired him.
"I've admired you from afar."
The former Army captain quipped in response: "Well, I've always thought we were brothers separated at birth. We're so similar!"
Last year's The Celebrity Traitors was won by Traitor Alan Carr, who had convinced fellow finalists Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga that he was a fellow Faithful, with Joe having been axed earlier in the evening.
And asked which former contestant he would most like to emulate, James said: "If I can't be Alan Carr, then if I would want to be anyone, it would be a Joe Marler."
Meanwhile, fellow contestant Joe Lycett recently admitted he thinks people will be "suspicious" seeing his real personality on The Celebrity Traitors.
He told the BBC: "I think the comics know what I'm like on and off stage, but I think the others who, for the first time, will spend time with me not in ‘show mode’ might see that as suspicious.
"I definitely come across assumptions of ‘oh, he's the gay comedian off the telly’ and I explain I've got a female partner and a son with said female partner.
"I’m really quite a tranquil individual when not in performance mode which may surprise some."
Joe explained that early in his stand-up career, there wasn't much difference between his "on and off-stage persona".
He said: "I showed off at parties because I wanted attention and then, gradually, as I got that attention through doing stand-up, I could calm down in real life.
"When I’m not out on stage I’m very calm, thoughtful and peaceful."
The Celebrity Traitors returns to BBC One on 1 October.
