Amy Childs has shown off her dramatic body transformation after overcoming a "yo-yo" dieting cycle.
The TOWIE star, 36, has told how she used to be unhappy with how she looked because she was "dieting all wrong", including failing to manage her nutrition and energy.
She wrote on Instagram: "Time to be really honest with you all.
"For as long as I can remember... I thought I was doing everything right. I’d diet, cut things out, push myself... and yet I’d always end up back in the same place
"I was definitely not happy with how I looked and, honestly, not happy with how I felt either,I was dieting all wrong.
"-I wasn’t managing my nutrition properly.
-I wasn’t managing my energy.
-And I definitely wasn’t looking after my health the way I thought I was.
"I’d under-fuel, stress, lose a bit of weight, then it would all come back and I’d start the whole thing again
"I was in that yo-yo cycle that so many of us get stuck in... that was me.
"What I didn’t understand was that it’s not just about “eat less, move more”. There’s so much more to it... the different phases, your mindset and actually making it work around your real life. (sic)"
But the reality TV star has seen several benefits since she teamed up with nutritional fat loss and behaviour coach Jon Kirk.
Amy told how she now feels "stronger" and "more confident", and she is no longer "stuck" in a yo-yo dieting cycle.
She added: "Since working with Jon, that’s what has changed everything for me.
"I have learnt SO much and I’m still learning every single day. My food has improved, I feel stronger and I can see changes in my body, my skin and my strength.
"My shoulders have actually built tissue (so random) which is something I never thought I’d be saying. I feel stronger, I feel more confident and, for the first time, I don’t feel like I’m stuck in that diet, lose, regain cycle anymore
"I’m nowhere near finished. This is still very much a work in progress. But it’s my journey and it finally feels like I’m heading in the right direction, with proper support behind me.
"If you’ve felt stuck like I did... I promise there is another way. speak to @jon_jkphysique he is the best (sic)"
