Loose Women's Kelle Bryan cringes over sex chat as Dad
Loose Women panellist Kéllé Bryan says it is always embarrassing to have to talk about her sex life on the ITV daytime show - because her dad is a regular Loose Women viewer.
Loose Women star Kéllé Bryan cringes with embarrassment when she has to talk about sex on the show - because her dad watches the programme every day.
The former Eternal singer says the more risqué topics are always tricky because whilst she’s divulging how much action she is getting between the sheets or what her favourite type of panties are, she knows her father will be watching and listening to her every word.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, she said: “The worst ones are when you talk about sex and I know my dad is a massive Loose Women fan, he was before I was on the show, he loved it. So I always cringe because I think, ‘My gosh, my dad is going to be listening to what knickers I wear,’ for example. Those are the cringe moments. But I think my family are just used to it now.
“I’ve been doing it for eight years now, so my family are all very used to it."
But Kéllé, 51, says having to be so open about her life on Loose Women also has its benefits with her family as it allows her to talk about things that are deeply personal without having to do so face-to-face.
Back in March 2024, Kelle bravely opened up about being a victim of domestic abuse with an ex-boyfriend, and that helped her be honest with her family about what she had to endure during that relationship, something she would have struggled to do in person.
She said: “Actually they’ve learned a lot about me because there are conversations that you just don’t have that I do have on that show. For example with the domestic abuse I suffered they went, ‘I didn’t know it was that bad for you.’
“My dad didn’t know some of the things that were revealed on the show. So in lots of different ways it’s a good conversation starter.
“It’s not something you would necessarily bring up but then once it’s been your family then have a chat with and talk to you about, which is amazing.”
Kéllé first shot to fame as a member of British R'n'B group Eternal along with Louise Redknapp, and sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett.
Kéllé joined ITV's Loose Women as a panellist in 2019.
