Big Brother and Strictly Come Dancing's Will Best set to become a first-time dad
Big Brother host and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Will Best is expecting his first child with his fiancee Tobi.
Will Best is set to become a first-time dad.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday (17.09.26), the Strictly Come Dancing contestant and his fiancee, stylist Tobi, revealed they are expecting their first child together.
Will shared a sweet shot of the pair, who got engaged in Tuscany, Italy, in July 2024, posing for a joyous mirror selfie as he lovingly placed his hand on her growing bump, with the caption: "Baby, Will?!"
The Big Brother host followed with a photo of Tobi helping him with his suit as Will touched her pregnant tummy, and then a picture of an adorable pair of fuzzy-bear baby booties.
A source told The Sun that the couple cannot wait to meet their bundle of joy "this side of Christmas".
They said: "Will and Tobi are overjoyed, and he can’t wait to become a dad. He already had a busy winter juggling Strictly and Big Brother, but now it’s got a whole lot more complicated.
"Tobi is due this side of Christmas, so there is every chance he has to race away from rehearsals to be with her.
"Will opens up in Saturday’s Strictly show about the happy news, but he and Tobi are so private, don’t expect to see an OK! shoot anytime soon."
Celebrities and fans rushed to the Instagram post's comments section to congratulate the couple, who met in 2011.
Will's Big Brother co-host AJ Odudu, 38, penned: "I'll never forget the day I cried tears of joy in the street when you told me. BABY ON BOARD (sic)."
His Hits Radio Breakfast Show co-host Fleur East, 38, gushed: "Ahhhhh! So exciting!! Can’t wait for you to join the parent club. Congratulations to you and Tobi. You will be amazing parents (sic)."
New Strictly Come Dancing host Johannes Radebe, 39, reacted: "Congrats again."
One fan typed: "OMFG!!!!!! Congratulations to you and @tobirosestylist so happy for you both!!!!! (sic)"
Referring to Will and Tobi's dog, a second supporter wrote: "Congratulations!!! I bet Sandwich is so ready for his big brother era (pun intended) (sic)."
And a third follower commented: "It’s all happening at once, what a summer, and what an Autumn in store!"
Will is taking part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.
He said: "I can’t quite believe it…I’m doing Strictly! What an absolute dream. Albeit a pretty terrifying one.
"I’ve been lucky to do lots of live telly before, but absolutely nothing like this. And I cannot wait!
"I have no idea if I can actually dance, but bring on the sequins, bring on the quicksteps, bring on the dance floor! I’m going to try to enjoy every minute of it."
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday (19.09.26) when Johannes and his co-hosts Emma Willis, 50, and Josh Widdicombe, 43, introduce Will and the other 2026 contestants to their professional partners on the launch show.
Taking part are EastEnders icon Lacey Turner, 38, Neighbours alum Delta Goodrem, 41, Love Island alums Cach Mercer, 25, and 30-year-old Dani Dyer - who withdrew last year due to an ankle injury - and 43-year-old celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton.
Paralympian Dame Sarah Storey, 48, Babs actress Jaime Winstone, 41, football player-turned-pundit Shaun Wright-Phillips, 44, and House of the Dragon's Bethany Antonia, 28, are also taking to the dance floor.
Completing the line-up are dog trainer Graeme Hall, 60, Emmerdale actor Lawrence Robb, 34, Olympic skeleton gold medallist Tabby Stoecker, 25, YouTube star John Nellis, 33, and 64-year-old Gavin and Stacey star Melanie Walters.
The live competition format kicks off the following week, Saturday, September 26.
However, the first results show, and elimination will not air until Sunday, October 4, and it has been confirmed that the winners of this year's Glitterball Trophy will be revealed on Saturday, December 19.
