Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu is believed to be "keen" to take part in the upcoming series of ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.
AJ Odudu is in talks to compete on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
The 38-year-old presenter is said to be “keen” to venture into the Australian jungle for the upcoming series of the ITV reality favourite, with the dates working out for the star as her appearances on Big Brother alongside co-host Will Best are being reduced significantly this year.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Once AJ’s Big Brother working dates were secured, she put herself into the frame for I’m A Celebrity.
“She’s had early conversations about taking part and has made it clear she can absolutely make the dates they need her to.
“AJ loves the show and would love facing the Bushtucker Trials.”
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant is the latest name to be rumoured for I’m A Celebrity, following on from the likes of Gavin and Stacey actress Joanna Page, Paralympian and TV presenter Ade Adepitan and Love Island star Chloe Burrows.
The insider added: “ITV go to great lengths to secure the line-up they think will best serve the audience.
“Final decisions will be made closer to November when the cast are due to fly out to Australia.”
ITV commented: “Any names suggested are just speculation.”
It was reported last week that Chloe, 30, was in advanced talks with ITV bosses about taking part in the show - as the channel bids to capitalise on her significant social media following after online stars Angry Ginge and GK Barry proved popular with viewers in recent years.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Chloe is in advanced talks and they love her. She was hugely popular in Love Island. She made it clear she’d love a chance to go to Australia to be on the show.
“She has a very big following on social media too, very much like Angry Ginge and GK Barry, and ITV bosses think she could bring in a younger audience.
“ITV moves with the times. They’ve seen the surge of popularity with influencers.”
While Chloe first found fame on Love Island in 2021 – where she placed second – she has gone on to forge a successful career in entertainment.
Chloe hosts her own podcast, Chloe vs The World, presents the Kiss Breakfast show on radio, alongside Strictly Come Dancing star Tyler West, and starred on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins last year.
