RuPaul's Drag Race UK guest judges include The Traitors reunion for Alan Carr
The Celebrity Traitors winner Alan Carr will have a special reunion on the new series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK.
Thandwie Newton, Rick Astley, Cat Burns and more are joining RuPaul's Drag Race UK.
The hit show is coming back to the BBC next week on September 3, with resident judges Alan Carr, Graham Norton and Michelle Visage all returning to the panel alongside a rotating cast of high profile guest stars.
Thandiwe, who is among the new guest judges, teased: "If I were…well let’s face it, I am a drag queen - my drag name would be Hannibal Trewartha.
"Hannibal was the name of my first pet, and Trewartha was the name of my first street and that apparently is your drag name.”
She'll be joined by singer-songwriter Anne-Marie, who described the role as a "dream".
She added: "Surrounded by beautiful people all day! I loved it and I can’t wait to watch the whole season.”
Never Gonna Give You Up hitmaker Rick Astley is also joining the fun, teasing that his drag name would be "Miss Rickety Splits".
Singer and The Celebrity Traitors star Cat Burns offered her own play on words for her drag moniker, as she quipped: "If I were on Drag Race UK my drag queen name would be Kitty Kat First Degree Burns.”
She'll be reunited with fellow Traitor Alan Carr on the show, ahead of the new celebrity series.
Rounding off the cast of guest judges are Slow Horses actor Kadiff Kirwan, style icon Michèle Lamy, comedian and supermodel Michelle de Swarte, model Erin O'Connor, West End star Layton Williams, and ABC frontman Martin Fry.
Layton certain knows his stuff, as he told the BBC: "One of my favourite Drag Race UK moments was with La Voix and her dad.
"It's a dynamic we don't see enough on telly. Queen's and their supportive dads... It was so heartwarming.”
Ahead of the new series, the BBC teased a new season promising "appointment viewing and appointment judging".
They added: "The internationally runowned RuPaul, will be regaling the fandom with a dazzling array of celebrity guests as they swoon, critique and deliberate over the fate of a fresh batch of crown thirsty queens in their bid to become the UK’s Next Drag Race Superstar."
The series will air from 7pm on BBC iPlayer and 9pm on BBC Three.
