Professor Green's dog Ethel has died at the age of 10, four years after his Pit Bull Arthur passed away.
Professor Green's "heart is sore" as his beloved dog Ethel has died at the age of 10.
The 42-year-old rapper - real name Stephen Manderson - hopes that the Presa Canario has reunited with his other dog, Pit Bull Arthur, who lost his battle with lymphoma in 2022.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (18.08.26), Professor Green posted sweet shots of the pooches together over the years, including them sharing the same bed, and his 41-year-old ex-fiancee, actress Karima McAdams, feeding them some of her food.
He captioned the upload: "Our hearts are so sore man. Hope you two are back together now."
The Celebs Go Dating alum then went to his Instagram Stories and penned: "Well and truly f****** broken hearted."
Karima, meanwhile, shared adorable pictures of herself and Ethel over the years on her Instagram account.
She captioned the post: "Ethie-Lou-Lou , I didn’t expect you to leave us today. I still thought you were a pup.
"I’ll miss you forever - fridge stalker, night talker, fox hater, cat liker, fly snapper, plate cleaner, big protector, love obsessor, drool possessor.
"You were so loved, and you always will be.
"Respect, sister. Enjoy the other side, beautiful babe, and come see us in dreams (sic)."
The couple's fans expressed their condolences in the comments section of both posts, as one typed: "Sorry for your loss of your fur baby Ethel. 'The sky has gained another star with a wagging tail tonight' next to her fur buddy Arthur xx (sic)."
A second supporter wrote: "The loss of a dog hurts like nothing else. Sincere condolences."
And a third follower reacted: "Oh sending you lots of hugs, love and blankets. I’m so sorry."
Professor Green and Karima met in 2019, got engaged two years later, and welcomed their son, Slimane, in March 2021.
The pair split in 2024, but they remain on very good terms.
Earlier this year, Professor Green revealed on an episode of Celebs Go Dating that he feels “guilt” about looking for love again on the programme, and is still "grieving" his breakup with Karima.
During his first therapy session with the E4 dating show's relationship experts, Paul C. Brunson, 51, and Anna Williamson, 45, the Not My Man performer explained: "Hands up, I’m being completely honest. I don’t know if I’m even ready to date.
"There’s going to be feelings of guilt around all of this. I am still grieving the loss of my relationship and not just for me. For our family and for our son.
"For those feelings of confusion that are impacting him, which feel a hell of a lot.”
Professor Green said in his confessional: "It’s really hard to step confidently into something new when what came before it is still so close in the rear view.
"When there’s a child involved, it is made ever more complicated.
"Not least of all because they are front and centre and priority in all things.”
