Sandra Bullock barely remembers Oscar win as she was 'hiding a newborn'
Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock has confessed she barely remembers her Oscar win because she was "hiding a newborn" and suffering sleepless nights after becoming a first-time mother to her adopted son Louis.

The Practical Magic 2 star, 62, won the Best Actress Academy Award in 2010 for her role in The Blind Side but she had become a first-time mother in secret after adopting her son Louis and she admits her big night at the Oscars was a blur because she was suffering from sleepless nights and couldn't tell anyone because she had decided to keep her big news a secret.
During an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, Sandra was asked what she remembers from her big night and she replied: "Nothing!"
The actress went on to add: "Well, I had maybe two hours of sleep? I was hiding a newborn. No one knew I had Lou, and he had acid reflux, so he slept only every two hours. So I don’t remember much of the night."
"But I do know that I wanted to get home because I wanted to do the feeding, because I knew who was there with him was probably struggling."
Sandra added that she spent the whole night wanting to rush home to her son but she couldn't leave early.
She explained: "I couldn’t leave the Oscars early. We went to the afterparty, and then we had to wait to get the little name put on there [on the statuette]. And I was like: 'Can we just hurry up the name?’ And then we said: 'Hi,' and then I took off.
"And they all thought: 'Oh, she’s tired. She’s tired.’ And I was tired! But I just wanted to get home to a little person that no one knew about."
When she did eventually get home to Louis, Sandra struggled to get her red carpet dress off so she fed her son still wearing her glitzy gown.
Sandra said: "I was there in the dress, and I couldn’t get out of the dress, so I just sat in the dress with Lou. [The] Oscar was on the floor and Lou was on my lap.
"It was the best way to have that night because it was so overwhelming in general. I think it would have been more overwhelming had I not been so tired. And I just wanted to go home."
Sandra kept the adoption secret as she was going through a divorce from her Jesse James and she had decided to continue with the plan to adopt Louis as a single mother.
The actress announced her little boy's arrival in April 2010 and publicly confirmed she was divorcing James. She went on to adopt another child, daughter Laila, in 2015.
