Professor Green thinks he might be "asexual".

The 42-year-old rapper - real name Stephen Manderson - has felt zero attraction to the women he has, so far, been set up with on E4's Celebs Go Dating, by show experts, Paul C. Brunson, 51, Anna Williamson, 44, and 37-year-old Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn.

Professor Green's date, Claira, asked him: "So what makes you think that you might be asexual?"

The Read all About It hitmaker replied: "It’s just I’ve not felt anything throughout this process yet."

After she dismissed his ill-timed remark, Claira then quizzed Professor Green: "You haven’t been single for that long, right?”

He responded: "No, six months. It’s just such a weird thing as well when you haven’t dated for years. Like, this is me out of my comfort zone.

"So, to explain, right, I’m at a point in life where I’m a year now having been diagnosed as autistic, which is, obviously, something I haven’t caught later on in life – it’s been there the whole time.

"And I remember someone saying to me when I was 16, ‘What’s wrong? You never have any expression on your face.'

"But, actually, I can be really enthusiastic and happy, and people being like, 'Are you having a good time?'"

In his confessional, Professor Green said it has been "really easy" to talk to Claira, and he "really enjoyed" their chat, and hopes she feels the same way.

But the Not My Man performer admitted he is unsure if things between them are "heading anywhere" or "where it's heading if it is".

The star added: "But this is the most relaxed I’ve felt on a date thus far."

Last week, Professor Green revealed on Celebs Go Dating that he feels “guilt” about looking for love again on the programme, and is still "grieving" his early 2024 breakup with fiancee, Hijack actress Karima McAdams, 41, with whom he has a four-year-old son named Slimane.

During his first therapy session with Paul and Anna, Professor Green explained: "Hands up, I’m being completely honest. I don’t know if I’m even ready to date.

"There’s going to be feelings of guilt around all of this. I am still grieving the loss of my relationship and not just for me. For our family and for our son.

"For those feelings of confusion that are impacting him, which feel a hell of a lot.”

He said in his confessional: "It’s really hard to step confidently into something new when what came before it is still so close in the rear view.

"When there’s a child involved, it is made ever more complicated.

"Not least of all because they are front and centre and priority in all things.”

Professor Green was previously married to Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh, 36, from 2013 until 2016.
