Dr Syabira Yusoff, who won The Great British Bake Off winner in 2022, has got engaged to her significant other Bradley.
The Great British Bake Off winner Dr Syabira Yusoff has got engaged.
The 35-year-old cardiovascular research associate triumphed on the Channel 4 show in 2022, and she has experienced another life highlight this week after her significant other, Bradley, popped the question.
Syabira shared a picture on Instagram of a huge rock on her finger, and she wrote in the caption: "2026 is already shaping up to be such a beautiful year for @baldy_with_spectacles and me.
"I said yes to spending the rest of my life with this handsome, kind, and amazing man."
It is a double celebration for Syabira and Bradley, because they have also bought a house together.
Syabira admitted she is "so excited" about their new chapter.
She added: "We also bought a house together, and we’re so excited to start this new chapter side by side. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us.
"Here’s to new beginnings, a home filled with love, and all the adventures waiting for us. We can’t wait to share where we’ve decided to settle down next year!

Syabira beat off competition from Abdul Rehman Sharif and Sandro Farmhouse in the 2022 Bake Off final
She said after her victory: "Thank you so much. I can’t believe it, honestly it hasn’t sunk in yet, this is the biggest achievement in my life.
"All the hard work, all the trial and error, it has all been worth it. I am very, very proud.
"I think I am coming out as a new person after this competition, I became more confident and I trusted my instincts.
"We can do anything we want as long as we have all of our heart and we work for it."
Syabira impressed Bake Off judges Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith in the show's 13th series.
She won the Star Baker award three times in the first nine episodes, before being crowned series winner in episode 10.
