Tamzin Outhwaite's marriage doubts
Tamzin Outhwaite cannot see herself walking down the aisle again, following her divorce from actor Tom Ellis in 2014 after eight years of marriage.
Tamzin Outhwaite does not think she will get married again.
The 55-year-old actress has not been on a date in over two years since she divorced Miranda star Tom Ellis, 47, in 2014, after eight years of marriage, and from boyfriend Tom Child in 2024, after six years together.
However, not dating does not bother Tamzin, 55, as she is loving life as a singleton.
Asked if walking down the aisle could happen again, the EastEnders alum told the new issue of Woman magazine: "I can't imagine it, no.
"I'm really happy. I feel like giving myself this time as a single woman - I should have done it much earlier in life. I should have given myself that time, but then I didn't have the knowledge and the wisdom to know that until I got to that age."
Speaking to Best magazine, Tamzin - who has Flo, 17, who was born a girl but now identifies as a boy, and Marnie, 13, with Tom Ellis - added that she is "very at peace with myself" as a single woman.
Although The Wives entertainer "don't want anything to disrupt that", she has not ruled out having a romance if the right man comes into her life.
Since Tamzin's relationships with the two Toms ended, she tried dating apps, but the New Tricks cast member ditched them as she "kept forgetting to check" who liked her, and they, ultimately, proved too confusing.
In April, the Death in Paradise alum admitted she cannot wrap her head around how much the dating landscape has changed since her previous relationships.
Tamzin told Bella magazine: "I haven't been in the dating scene for a good couple of years. I don't know how you do it at my age.
"When we were young, we used to go to the pub with our friends, have a couple of drinks, and that's how you dated, but now everyone's on an app."
Since she entered her 50s in 2020, the Bull actress thinks she is living a more exciting life.
Tamzin explained: "This is the second part of my life, the beginning of the second part. And this is actually more exciting, more liberating, more powerful. And I'm happier."
