Bradley Walsh goes in search of UFOs for his new Sky History series.

The 66-year-old TV presenter will host Bradley Walsh: Out Of This World, a new show on Sky History that will see Bradley explore UFO sightings both in the air and under the sea.

Speaking about the show, a source told The Sun newspaper: "Bradley holds a deep fascination with extraterrestrial theories, particularly concerning ancient history and engineering, so he is the perfect person to front this series.

"He goes wherever the evidence takes him, whether that’s secret military files, eyewitness testimony, underwater anomalies or ancient mysteries."

Bradley is travelling across the world in search of UFOs, and he's turning to "military insiders, eyewitnesses and scientists" as part of his investigation.

The insider continued: "Filming is already underway and is taking him all over the world, from Sweden, where he’ll look at their so-called ‘ghost ships’, to Arizona, where he will meet military insiders, eyewitnesses and scientists who claim there are things in our skies that simply can’t be explained.

"He’ll even try to find the lost city of Atlantis and explore whether crop circles are alien messages.

"When it comes to aliens most people think about Roswell, but Britain has its own history of weird and unexplained sightings that will shock people. Bradley will lift the lid on those encounters too."

Bradley previously opened up about his TV career, explaining that it felt like a natural progression for him after being sacked as a Pontins bluecoat.

The TV presenter - who played Danny Baldwin in the ITV soap Coronation Street between 2004 and 2006 - told Comedy.co.uk: "Once I left that to get into the entertainment industry and become a blue coat, I got sacked from being the bloke that was messing around. I thought that was the job! In the end I thought to myself, why don't I just get paid for messing around?"
