Bradley Walsh set for 'hilarious' Gladiators challenge in grand final
Gladiators host Bradley Walsh is set to take on the larger than life stars in a gruelling and "hilarious" challenge.
Bradley Walsh will take on the Gladiators in a challenge for the first time in the grand final.
The 65-year-old presenter is usually happy to stand with his son Barney on the sidelines hosting the BBC gameshow, but it's been revealed he will get physical in tomorrow's (28.03.26) final episode.
Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, best known as Nitro, told The Sun newspaper's TVBiz column: "That’s why this final is a great one because he does something hilarious that you would not have thought he’d do.
“He actually has a go at one of the events with one of the Gladiators. I was actually impressed."
Montell Douglas, AKA Fire, revealed that Bradley tries to use his smarts to come out on top in the challenge.
She added: "He used his brain. Sometimes that’s the strongest muscle you have. You’ve got to use what you’ve got. He has a good crack at it.”
It's not yet clear which of the show's gruelling challenges Bradley took on.
The final will see four contenders Emily Bell, Naomi Church, Josh McDonald and Tyler Spence all returning for one more shot at glory.
Montell teased: "They have gone through a lot and I think, particularly this series, you see everyone’s backstory played out so well in terms of what people are fighting for.
“Gladiators is just a massive celebration of who we are, how far we’ve all come as individuals, as superheroes, as your so-called everyday man or woman.”
With the third series coming to an end, finalist Tyler Spence has urged anyone thinking about applying to "one hundred percent go for it".
He added to the BBC: "I have probably thought about it numerous times watching the second series.
"I have always done things in a team and I wanted to do something for me. Everything has been unbelievable, it’s not easy but it's so rewarding."
Gladiators: The Grand Final airs Saturday, March 28 at 5:45pm on BBC One.
