First Dates' Cici Coleman shares life struggles amid 'inflamed face and body'
First Dates waitress Cici Coleman posted shots of her "inflamed" face as she opened up about her recent life struggles in a candid Instagram post.
First Dates star CiCi Coleman's life struggles have begun to show physically.
The Channel 4 dating show's waitress showed off her "inflamed" face to her Instagram followers on Wednesday (10.06.26) as she vowed to keep things "real" on the social media platform.
CiCi captioned the candid upload: "Just keeping it real on the grameroo incase it was all looking a bit fancy.
"It’s no secret that life has been a little **** the last month and it’s now showing up externally. Inflammation in my face and body, dehydrated skin, spots, rosacea - all the fun stuff.
"I’m on the other side of it but my body clearly still needs some TLC. I actually think it’s quite amazing how to body responds to stress sometimes before the mind does. (sic)"
The blonde beauty concluded: "Reminder for anyone who’s going through it at the moment: you might need a little more sleep than usual, some earlier nights, a good cry, or a few girl dinner evenings.
"Sometimes that’s exactly what’s needs- not pushing through, not saying yes to everything, or putting on a poker face and pretending you’re okay.
"There’s no shame in saying no x (sic)."
The setback comes as First Dates' maitre d'hotel, Fred Sirieix, 54, served up a joyous update on CiCi's love life - she has a date in the new series.
In March, he encouraged single men who want to date waitress CiCi to apply for First Dates, and he and bartender Merlin Griffiths, 51, have completed their task of setting her up with a potential lover.
Fred told Heat magazine: "This is for the new series, but we have set up CiCi on a date, and it's looking great."
First Dates fans have long hoped to strike up a romance with Cici, and she and Fred answered their prayers in a video shared to Instagram on March 8.
Fred appeared alongside the TV personality and said: "Right, CiCi, it's time to sort your love life out.
"So this is a shout-out to all you guys who have been dreaming of dating CiCi, and believe me, I’ve had so many direct messages."
CiCi chimed in: "When Fred says all, it means like 10 out of 10 men, let's just clarify that."
He continued: "10 out of 10 men. So if you want to date Ms CiCi, you need to apply, the link is below, and in a few days' time, you could be here in the First Dates restaurant having a date with the beautiful CiCi.
"So join the queue and apply right now."
