Laura Whitmore has given birth to her and Iain Stirling's second child.

The former Love Island host took to Instagram on Wednesday (03.06.26) to announce the joyous news.

Laura, 41, posted a sweet shot of her bonding with their bundle of joy, with the caption: "A new player has entered the game!

"We welcomed the most precious baby last month, unexpectedly early and with dramatic flair (wouldn’t expect anything else).

"I had made a 5 hour birthing playlist this time.. only played about 3 songs - ended up using it post birth. It’s a reaaally good playlist, can somebody please use it.

"Been enjoying baby smells, lack of sleep and scrumptious hands and wrists. (sic)"

Iain - who is the narrator of Love Island - then took to his Instagram account, where he uploaded a picture of the baby's cream cardigan, which had "Littlest Living Legend" emblazoned on the back, hat, and boots.

The pair - whose daughter is called Stevie Re - have not revealed their new baby's name.

Laura - who fronted Love Island from 2020 until 2022 - and 38-year-old Iain's celebrity pals showered them with congratulatory messages in the comments section of the former's post.

Love Island 2020 star Shaughna Phillips, 32, penned: "Ugh could just bottle it up!!! Congratulations to you all (sic)."

Former BBC Radio 2 star Zoe Ball, 55, typed: "Ahhh congratulations to you wonderful folk (sic)."

And I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! 2024 campmate Dean McCullough, 33, wrote: "Congratulations mama you are amazing and loved (sic)."

Laura and Iain's fans also joined the stars in wishing them well, as one reacted: "Amazing. Biggest congratulations."

A second supporter commented: "Ahh bless congratulations Laura. Wonderful news wishing you all health and happiness xxx (sic)."

And a third follower said: "Bless, I am so happy for your new family big hugs (sic)."

Laura announced her pregnancy in February.

Alongside snaps of her growing baby bump, Laura wrote on the photo-sharing platform: "Instagram V Reality - Spoiler: It wasn't just a big meal mama ate. She's been cooking away!

"I'd like to thank stretchy pants and travel sick bags. (sic)"

She and Iain - who got married in Dublin, Ireland, in 2020 - welcomed their first child, Stevie Re, into the world in March 2021.

Laura opened up about her experiences of motherhood in 2023, when she admitted that it had fundamentally changed her outlook on life.

The star told Glamour magazine: "It's made me better. The things I can get done before 9:00 AM are honestly incredible. I'm quite impressed with myself […] It's made me value my time more.

"I was 35 when I had her […] I definitely wasn't ready when I was 25, but it is hard. But I've had so many voices in my head telling me I can't do things. I mean, I think I'm the only person who slow-mo-walked into the Love Island while I was breastfeeding.

"I had her with me every single step of the way. I think she's the only baby – a real baby – to have been in the villa. But I wanted to do it because there's a bit of me that I knew I couldn't just be at home. If you like your job and you're excited by it, you can do it."
