'Supersex', the series inspired by the real life of porn actor Rocco Siffredi, will debut on Netflix on March 6.

Italian screenwriter Francesca Manieri has written and created the television drama which will show how “Rocco Tano - a simple guy from Ortona - became Rocco Siffredi, the most famous porn star in the world".

The show will explore Rocco's "relationship with love" and will delve into his childhood and early life before his breakthrough and success in the world of adult entertainment.

According to Netflix, 'Supersex' is “freely inspired” by Rocco's life and career, as well as from direct testimony from Siffredi.

'The Hanging Sun' star Alessandro Borghi plays the Italian porn legend, and the cast also includes Adriano Giannini as Rocco's half-brother Tommaso, Saul Nanni as a young Rocco and Gaia Messerklinger as female Italian porn star Moana Pozzi.

Jasmine Trinca plays Lucia, a fictional female character “who represents a synthesis of most women with whom Rocco had a relationship in his life".

Directors include Matteo Rovere, Francesco Carrozzini and Francesca Mazzoleni.

Rocco has appeared in over 1,300 pornographic films since 1986, and he achieved notoriety in the industry for his rough style of hardcore adult entertainment.

'The Ass Collector' star is married to Hungarian model Rózsa Tassi, with whom he has two sons Lorenzo and Leonardo.

Rocco, 59, has retired and returned to the industry on several occasions citing his love for his wife and the importance of his marriage as the reason for stepping away from the cameras.
