Saint-Pierre has been renewed for a third season, Deadline has confirmed.
Josephine Jobert's Saint-Pierre has been renewed for a third season.
The Canadian police drama - which stars Josephine, formerly of Death in Paradise, and Allan Hawco - will begin filming in Newfoundland and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon in July.
Series creators Allan Hawco and Robina Lord-Stafford told Deadline: "We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support from CBC, our incredible partners at Fifth Season, and the worldwide fans who have embraced the show from the very beginning.
"Returning to Newfoundland and Saint-Pierre et Miquelon for Season 3 is especially exciting, as these locations are such an important part of the show’s identity.
"We’re looking forward to building on the momentum of the first two seasons and bringing audiences even more of the mystery, unexpected twists, and character dynamics that make this world so special."
The Canadian drama show is broadcast on U and Alibi in the UK, Sky in New Zealand, ABC in Australia, and FreeTV in Israel, while it is also set to launch on France Televisions later this year.
Ava Knight, the director of acquisitions at Fifth Season, said: "Audiences around the world have embraced Saint-Pierre for its breathtaking setting, gripping mysteries and the irresistible dynamic between Arch and Fitz.
"Following the global success of the first two seasons, Season 3 raises the stakes in every sense with bold new investigations, evolving relationships and unexpected twists that expand the world of the series in compelling new ways."
Meanwhile, Josephine previously admitted that she'd love to become a Bond Girl.
The 41-year-old actress – whose cousin Eva Green appeared in Casino Royale – would love to be a part of the film franchise and even saves messages from fans who think she’d be a great fit so she can show them to casting directors if she ever gets the opportunity.
Josephine - who played Florence Cassell in Death in Paradise - previously told HELLO! magazine: "I’d love it. It’s so funny – and I’m not making this up – I receive so many messages from people and fans who say to me, ‘You should be the next Bond girl.’
"It’s something that happens pretty often and I screenshot every single message.
"I have to keep them in case I meet the casting director and I can say, ‘Look at this.’"
