I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! alum Jake Quickenden and his wife Sophie Church have reportedly called their relationship quits after almost four years of marriage.
Jake Quickenden and his wife Sophie Church have reportedly split.
The pair are thought to have had an "incredibly amicable" break-up after almost four years of marriage, with them being on "great terms" and now focused on co-parenting their sons Leo, five, and 16-month-old Kit.
A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Jake and Sophie have ended their marriage, but they remain incredibly amicable. There is still a huge amount of love and respect between them.
"Their main priority has always been, and continues to be, their children, and they are fully committed to being the best parents possible.
"Over time, they started to grow apart, and Jake and Sophie have had some long and honest conversations about this.
“While they might not be together anymore, they are still on great terms and are looking to the future, co-parenting together. Maintaining a happy and supportive family unit together is their focus now.”
The X Factor 2012 star Jake, 37, and influencer Sophie, 33, are thought to have struck up a romance in June 2018.
Three years later, he popped the question during a family getaway to Rhodes, Greece.
Jake took to Instagram and posted a sweet shot of himself and Sophie kissing on a boat as she flashed the diamond ring, with the caption: "SHE SAID YES…. The love of my life, the mother to my beautiful Leo and Freddie, I love you so much…
"This isn’t a drill, it’s actually happening."
The I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! 2014 campmate married Sophie in Ibiza, Spain, in September 2022.
In a video posted to Instagram, Jake gushed: "Just married, just married!"
He donned a three-piece suit decorated with medals that paid tribute to his dad, Paul, and brother Oliver, who both lost battles with bone cancer.
The medals read: "I know you would be here today if you weren't in heaven so far away."
Following the nuptials, Jake declared the service as the "best day" of his life and was seen to be relaxing with Leo as he reflected on the celebrations.
He said: "Best day of my life yesterday! Having a day today enjoying this one and spending time with my mates!"
