David Haye has confirmed he's planning to sue ITV for "way more" than £10 million.

The 45-year-old boxer is taking action against the broadcaster amid the fallout from his controversial stint on I'm A Celebrity... South Africa.

In an Instagram video on Tuesday (05.05.26), he said: "I’ve been inundated with people wanting a statement in regards to the legal situation with ITV and this defamation case.

"The answer is yes I am. I’m not sure if you know me that well but those who do know that I don’t like getting pushed around. I don’t like people taking advantage.

“I’ve had stuff happen in the past, I’ve let certain stuff go, but as I’ve got older I’m like, ‘nah, you’re taking the p***’. I’m going to take it as far as it needs to go.”

And he even hinted at the huge sum he's hoping to get from ITV.

He added: "There’s lots of different elements I can’t talk about but in regards to how much this claim is going to be, I’m hearing this £10 million number banded around…

“The number I’m going to hit them with is way more than that.”

David has accused ITV of "manipulating" scenes featuring himself and winner Adam Thomas.

During the pre-recorded series, which was filmed in 2025, viewers saw David berate Adam for not doing a trial as he felt dehydrated.

David has always insisted his jibes to the Emmerdale star were “banter”, amid bullying allegations.

Now, he has claimed: "When you’re right and the decision comes down to a judge… Once the tapes have been viewed and the evidence has been presented, they’ll realise that this reality TV might not be that real, maybe it’s manipulated heavily and directed in a certain narrative for a specific reason.

“I’m looking forward to a judge seeing exactly what went down, so they can make their decision.”

Recent reports had suggested David - a former world heavyweight champion boxer - believes that the show has caused damage to his reputation and undermined his future earning potential.

Despite the drama, Adam recently insisted that he's proud of how he handled himself on I'm A Celebrity.

The soap star - who also clashed with footballer Jimmy Bullard - wrote on Instagram: "I walked through this journey with my heart first, no matter what came my way…It was not always easy, there were moments that could have broken me, but I stayed true to myself and that is something I will always be proud of.

"I have realised that when people try to dim your light, it says more about them than it ever will about you.

"This experience has shown me my strength in ways I never imagined. Not because of any title or recognition, but because I stayed kind, I stayed grounded and I stayed real."
