David Haye has given Adam Thomas a warning after the I’m A Celebrity…South Africa winner branded him a “bully” on the show.

The retired boxer, 45, and the actor, 37, came face-to-face at the explosive live final on April 24 after viewers saw David berate Adam for not doing a trial as he felt dehydrated and ill during the pre-record series, which was filmed in 2025.

Adam told his siblings, Coronation Street alum Ryan Thomas and Love Island 2016 hunk Scott Thomas, that “what happened to me in camp was bullying, that is the matter of fact about it – it was bullying” on Wednesday’s (29.04.26’s) episode of the At Home with the Thomas Bro’s podcast.

David has always insisted his jibes to Adam were “banter”, and he doubled down on that in a blistering response to the “crying and moaning” podcast episode the following day.

The sportsman said in a video shared to Instagram: "So, I’ve just taken the time to listen to Adam Thomas’ podcast, him and his brothers, Ryan and Scott.

"Very, very interesting to see he’s had a few days to sit down, mull it over, process everything that’s happened. Him winning I’m A Celebrity and how he processed it, and it was enlightening.

"Dishing out banter to me and then losing the banter game when I give it back to him - he just starts crying and moaning, and, somehow, he’s spun it so he’s still the victim.

"And he’s done an hour of chat with his brothers - I put it in double speed because I couldn’t listen to the waffle - all three of them b******* and whining and moaning, complaining. He won!

"I don’t think he’s been around proper guys who actually have a bit of back and forth, and you, kind of, build your mental resilience to jibes. I’ve had plenty of it in my time - whenever I lose, whenever I get something wrong, I always get my mates giving me s*** for it. That’s just what we do.

“That’s what real guys do.”

David dismissed his jibes to Adam as a “little light sprinkling of primary school banter”, and claimed they were “so gentle”.

The former heavyweight champion added: "He nearly had an emotional breakdown over it, started crying. The volume of banter that he received was significantly less than he dished out. So he dished it out, couldn’t take it.

“This message, me explaining it, it’s another form of banter.”

David said Adam’s upset was indicative of the “world right now”.

David continued: "Ugh, everyone’s so damn soft it makes me sick. But it’s the world we live in right now, and you’re rewarded for the softer and weaker you are. The more weak brittled spirited you are, the more validation the masses give you.

"But I ain’t interested in those. I’m interested in the 15-20 per cent of people who listen to me going, ‘Yeah, David makes sense. He’s right.’

“The rest of them, I couldn’t give a s***. And the rest of you sensible people, you know what the score is, you know what’s right.”

Addressing Adam, David went on: "You’re nearly 40 years old ,and you’re moaning that you won a TV competition … You get £100,000 to give to a charity of your choice, you’ve made more money in a day than most people earn in a year.

"For three weeks straight, you’re going to get loads of endorsements. Everyone loves you. ITV are going to give you your own show and all this. Things are looking positive, good vibes.

“It’s a good slice of the population who love that soft s***. So just keep giving them the weakness. Keep giving them that soft, flaccid energy. That’s it, Mr. Flaccid.”

David added: “Maybe your weak a** fanbase just want the soft, marshmallow energy, so just keep giving it to them.”

The athlete ended his video with a chilling warning to Adam.

David concluded: “There’s a lot of stuff that’s gonna come to light that hasn’t come to light that, kind of, contradicts his story, just a little bit, that I’m looking forward to seeing the light of day.”

On the latest episode of the At Home with the Thomas Bros podcast, Adam said David apologised, and the former moved on.

Adam said: "The relationship with me and David is even after the camp, even after he told me [out of camp] ‘you’re the nicest guy I’ve ever met and I just wanted to break you’, like, it’s cool. He apologised. I moved on.

"You know, we had voice messages back and forth, and we’d just been bantering and having a laugh. I’d just put it all to bed.

"I think for David [Haye] and some of these campmates who have come out, I feel like it’s just a show to them, do you know what I mean?

"It’s entertainment. It’s fun. And for me it’s not about entertainment, I’m not playing a character, I’m not here for anyone else’s agenda but my own, to have a f****** laugh and enjoy this experience.

"And I feel that’s the most disturbing thing for me, looking at David, and even after the show and everything he did, he sent me a voice note saying, ‘Ah mate, what a great show that was, so happy you won, congratulations.'

"I just sent him a message back and said, ‘Look, I think this is where I draw the line, I hope you find happiness, bro, but I’m done now.’"
