Anthea Turner thinks one of her ex-husbands will not go to her wedding
Anthea Turner is "on good terms" with both her former husbands, Peter Powell and Grant Bovey, but the star thinks one of them will not attend her wedding to Mark Armstrong.
Anthea Turner thinks her ex-husband Peter Powell will attend her wedding to Mark Armstrong, but Grant Bovey will not.
Anthea, 65, and Peter, 75, former Top of the Pops presenters, were married from 1990 until 1998. She got hitched to property developer Grant, 65, in 2000, but they split in 2015.
And Anthea remains "on good terms" with both her exes.
The former Blue Peter host told The Sunday Mirror newspaper's Notebook magazine: "There's absolutely no bitterness. Grant and I had some great years, Peter and I had some great years."
But when it comes to her and 59-year-old Mark's wedding guest list, Anthea added: "I'm not sure if Grant would come, but I think Peter most definitely will."
Anthea and Mark's nuptials have been hit with multiple delays.
The GMTV alum and the businessman previously postponed their wedding due to the death of their mums and the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, after they got engaged in Rome, Italy, in September 2019, following a two-month romance.
And last month, Anthea and Mark decided to delay their wedding again because of renovations to their London home.
She told Woman's Own magazine: "We need to sort it out, and we absolutely will, but we've got a lounge renovation that's just about starting.
"We're not together because we want to breed or because it's the only way we can buy a house. We're together because he is my go-to, he's my best friend, he's my everything.
"I can't think of anybody I would prefer to be snuggling up to at night. I am truly blessed that we found each other."
The couple "feel married" because they have been together for almost seven years.
Anthea added: "Although it would be nice to get married someday, it's not our priority - but it will happen someday!"
She and Mark planned to get hitched in Rome, Italy, in 2020, but Anthea has confirmed their special day will take place "in the UK".
The Wish You Were Here...? presenter told Bella magazine in May 2025: "We haven't sorted out the wedding - we have to get our act together.
"I don't want the faff of organising anything abroad, so it will be in the UK. God knows how many bridesmaids I'm going to have!"
