Adam Thomas has been crowned King of the Jungle in the live final of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! All Stars, concluding a series marked by tension both on and off screen.
The 37-year-old actor was announced as the winner by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in the first live final of the All Stars spin-off on Friday night (24.04.26.)
Olympic athlete Mo Farah finished as runner-up, while Harry Redknapp placed third.
Earlier in the evening, Craig Charles was revealed to have finished fourth.
The final brought together the full cast, including David Haye and Jimmy Bullard, despite earlier disputes during the series.
Beverley Callard was absent due to ill health following a breast cancer diagnosis.
The result followed a series characterised by confrontations among contestants, culminating in an on-stage dispute during the final.
Sinitta and Gemma Collins were reported to have left the stage, while Ant and Dec became involved in a disagreement with David Haye and Jimmy.
Adam was crowned in what was described as an “awkward atmosphere”.
Craig spoke about the experience during an appearance on This Morning.
He said: “It was deeply traumatic. It was very upsetting. Adam was so wound up, so aggressive, like a coiled spring.
“It looked like he was going to attack Jimmy, he was dropping f-bombs and c-bombs.”
Craig added: “They couldn’t broadcast it, I get that, I’m not blaming ITV, they edited it out.
“They had to water down what we’d really seen but they didn’t water down mine and Harry’s responses.”
Reports from unnamed sources suggested some contestants felt the broadcast edit did not fully reflect events, with claims parts of Adam’s confrontation with Jimmy were omitted.
According to the accounts, the aired footage focused instead on Adam speaking to Scarlett Moffatt about wanting to make his family proud.
The series has prompted discussion online regarding ITV’s handling of the footage and duty of care towards participants, following Craig’s remarks about the scale of the argument and its impact on those involved.
Adam has built a successful career in British television, rising through roles in popular soaps before expanding into reality TV, earning recognition for his charisma, resilience, and connection with audiences before his I’m a Celebrity controversy.
