Michelle Visage rejected The Celebrity Traitors.

The 57-year-old star feared her cast members would automatically assume she was a Traitor because of the tough and sharp character she plays as a judge on RuPaul's Drag Race UK.

If approached again, however, Michelle admitted she would "absolutely love" to do The Celebrity Traitors - the BBC's ultimate game of backstabbing and betrayal, where stars must catch the Traitors before the deceitfuls steal the prize pot from the Faithfuls.

In the new issue of HELLO! magazine, the TV personality added: "I was asked, if I'm honest.

"The issue is that I film [Drag Race] at the same time, and my biggest concern is that people would automatically assume, because of my character on the show, that I'd be a Traitor, and that's not necessarily true.

"I don't want to be voted off first because people don't have the vision that I can be something other than what I play on the telly.

"But I think inevitably I will do it at some point. I would love to."

Elsewhere in the interview, Michelle shared again how much she wants to permanently relocate to the UK from California with her husband, author David Case - better known by his pseudonym Jax Spenser - and daughters Lille, 25, and 23-year-old Lola.

Michelle - who currently splits her time between the UK and US - quipped: "I'm not the Beckhams, so I don't have £20 million to £30 million to spend on a palatial estate.

"But I would love to move within the next couple of years, possibly to the outskirts of London."

Even when the Strictly Come Dancing 2019 contestant is back home in the States, her heart is in the UK.

Michelle said: "My heart will always be in the UK - even when I'm home, my heart is here. It feels like home to me. That's why I split my time, and I love it"

Detailing what she adores about the UK, the star - who filled in on 78-year-old singer-and-actress Dame Elaine Paige's Sunday show on BBC Radio 2 - continued: "I think this country is very special on so many levels, and I mean that. I've said it for the past 12 years, and I've meant every word of it."

The star added: "It's the people I love most. There are many things that I love; not the weather, but I truly love the way of life here."
