Vicky Pattison is going to take the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour “very seriously”.
After appearing in series 23 of the BBC show, the 38-year-old will be hitting the road with a cast of other famous faces, and Vicky is determined to lift the Glitterball trophy during the show.
In a statement, Vicky said: “It's a moment, quite frankly, that I never, ever thought would be mine. And it probably never will be again.
“So I'm taking it very seriously, I'm gonna put on the absolute best show that I can.”
As well as the Geordie Shore star, the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour will feature Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, George Clarke and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
The cast is rounded out by Ellie Goldstein, Lewis Cope, La Voix and Layton Williams, while Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two presenter Janette Manrara is to host.
As well as Vicky, series 23 finalist George has his eyes on the prize, and the social media star said he was hoping to “lift the Glitterball at least once” during the tour.
He added: “The pros say the tour is all the best bits from the show without the pressure of worrying you’re going to be sent home.
“I'm looking forward to just having a lot of fun, it's a nice way to tie the bow on top of Strictly.”
Meanwhile, Lewis admitted he was feeling “rusty”, but said he had been watching his previous dances on YouTube every day to prepare for the shows.
He noted: “I'm so happy because I've really missed dancing over these last few weeks. But I am feeling a bit rusty.
“I would be lying if I said I haven't been watching our dances on YouTube every single day to remind myself. We had so much fun on the TV show that now this tour feels like a celebration.”
Drag star La Voix - whose real name is Christopher Dennis - was heartbroken after being forced to withdraw from last year’s show due to a foot injury, and stressed she would be wearing more sensible footwear for the upcoming tour.
She said: “I've been doing my rehab and they've given me a lower heel to make it easier. This is the only time you'll see La Voix in a frumpy heel, but it's what I've got to do.”
As well as the contestants, the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour will feature judges Craig Revel Horwood, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas.
