Vicky Pattison is the seventh contestant to exit this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The 38-year-old TV personality and her 30-year-old professional dance partner, Kai Widdrington, were booted out of the competition during Sunday (16.11.25) night's results show after going head-to-head with EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal, 46, and her 30-year-old professional dance partner, Julian Caillon, in the tense dance-off.

Vicky and Kai's Jive to Sound of the Underground by Girls Aloud on Saturday (15.11.25) night failed to win over judges Motsi Mabuse, 44, Shirley Ballas, 65, and Anton Du Beke, 59, as the trio preferred Balvinder and Julian's American Smooth to My Guy by Mary Wells.

Fellow judge, 60 year old Craig Revel Horwood - who had the casting vote on this week's show in the event of a tie - did not have to give his verdict, but told 56-year-old host Tess Daly that he would have saved Balvinder and Julian.

Vicky and Kai's departure means they have lost out on a place during next Saturday's (22.11.25) Blackpool special, which is coming live from the seaside town's famed Tower Ballroom.

But Vicky feels she has won by having Kai as her dance partner.

Reflecting on her time on Strictly Come Dancing, she said: "It was so lovely whilst it lasted, and I've had a lovely time.

"I knew this week was a difficult one for me, and I tried my hardest, as I have done every week. I didn't think I'd get past week one, and I'm really honoured to have shared this experience with so many amazing people.

"And, mostly, with this fella right here [Kai]. I don't want to sound too cheesy, but you've been the best partner a girl could have asked for, and I'm so sorry I didn't get to Blackpool, but I feel like I've won just by having you as my partner, and I'm so grateful."

She added: "I'll miss everybody. I enjoyed it loads more than I thought I was going to, and I knew I let my nerves get in the way. I'll proper beat myself up over that. But I've never danced before, and here I am!"

Kai also feels like a champion because he had Vicky as his celebrity dance partner on the BBC's Latin and Ballroom dance show.

He said: "You're everything that this series is about; strong, confident, independent, and all that I can say is I have loved every single second, and I'm going to be gutted not going to Blackpool with you on Monday.

"But I just want you to know that I feel like I've also won getting you as my partner, and you will live on in Strictly history forever."

The Apprentice 2019 candidate Thomas Skinner, 34, and his 35-year-old professional dance partner, Amy Dowden, were the first couple to leave this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.

They were followed by Ross King - the 63-year-old Los Angeles Correspondent for ITV's Lorraine and Good Morning Britain - and his 31-year-old professional dance partner, Jowita Przystal.

Then, 39-year-old former rugby union player Chris Robshaw and his 36-year-old professional dance partner, Nadiya Bychkova, were booted out of the competition.

Ex-professional footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, 53, and his 34-year-old professional dance partner, Lauren Oakley, were fourth to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing.

Trailblazing model Ellie Goldstein, 23, and her 33-year-old professional dance partner, Vito Coppola, failed to make it through to the next round.

And last Saturday (08.11.25), 37-year-old Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and his 43-year-old professional dance partner, Karen Hauer, were eliminated.

Neighbours actor Stefan Dennis, 67, and his 36-year-old professional dance partner, Dianne Buswell, had to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing 2025 because he tore a calf muscle.

The seven remaining couples will return to the dance floor next Saturday (22.11.25), and viewers can tune in at 6.35pm on BBC One.
