Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are to launch their first-ever podcast series Hanging Out With Ant and Dec on their new digital entertainment channel Belta Box - which also showcase classic TV moments from the Geordie duo.
Ant and Dec are launching their first-ever podcast series.
The much-loved Geordie presenting duo – full name Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly – will release the first episode of the Hanging Out With Ant and Dec podcast on January 22.
The pair, who have hosted shows including Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, are also launching a digital entertainment channel called Belta Box that will be home to the podcast, new digital formats and classic moments from some of their most popular programmes.
Belta Box will be available across digital platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
A synopsis for the podcast, which is being produced by the duo's creative business Mitre Studios, reads: "On Hanging Out With Ant and Dec there's no script, no agenda, and no interruptions. It's the duo catching up, reminiscing, and seeing where the conversation takes them, and they want you, the listener, to get involved.
"Whether it's asking Ant and Dec to relive iconic TV moments, seeking advice from the lads or just sharing anecdotes, each item has input from the audience."
Ant, 50, said: "We've spent our whole careers celebrating great entertainment, so launching Belta Box feels like the natural next step. Alongside our new podcast, we're excited to create a space packed with fun, feel-good content that brings people together – no matter where they're watching or listening."
Dec, also 50, added: "And what better way to launch Belta Box than with our first-ever podcast series. We asked our audience if we did a podcast what would they like it to be about, and they said we just want you guys to hang out. So that's what we're doing. Ant and I don't get to hang out as much as we used to, so it's perfect for us."
The development comes after the pair extended their exclusive ITV contract for three more years last month.
The Britain's Got Talent hosts put pen to paper on a deal that will extend their relationship with the broadcaster until the end of 2028 – 30 years on from when they joined the channel to front children's Saturday morning show SM: TV Live.
Ant said of the extension: "We are absolutely delighted to be continuing our long-standing and creative partnership with our friends at ITV."
Dec added: "We’re so lucky to work on some of the biggest and best TV shows, and we’re proud of what we have achieved together with ITV over the years.
"We’re excited for the future and looking forward to making more great entertainment together."
