I'm A Celebrity ... South Africa is unlikely to return to TV for another three years.

The all-star spin-off from ITV show I'm A Celebrity ...Get Me Out Of Here! - hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly - debuted in 2023 and returned to TV earlier this month but the current season of I'm A Celebrity ... South Africa was marred by a massive bust-up between eventual winner Adam Thomas and former footballer Jimmy Bullard, who sensationally accused Adam of being "abusive, aggressive and intimidating" after flying into a rage when Jimmy quit a trial. The drama continued during I'm A Celebrity ... South Africa live final with several stars storming off, and now it's been revealed fans will have to wait several years for the next all stars installment.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "The aim was never for it [I'm A Celebrity ... South Africa] to be made or be on air in 2027, even though there may be an appetite for that right now.

"The aim was to deliver something as a special show that was on from time to time, not an annual revisit like the main I’m A Celebrity show."

I'm A Celebrity ...Get Me Out Of Here! is set to return later in 2026.

It comes after pop star Sinitta admitted the explosive row between Adam and Jimmy on I'm A Celebrity ... South Africa made her feel uncomfortable and she's convinced TV bosses should have stepped in to cool tensions.

She told The Sun: "I found it very uncomfortable and disturbing. It was very explosive, very aggressive. I was so visibly upset and shaken by it.

"I was saying to anyone who would listen: 'Why isn’t anyone stopping this? Please make it stop. This is not right.' I would have liked it to have been broken up sooner.

"I’m looking around at everybody like: ‘Somebody do something!'"

Sinitta - who was one of the stars who walked off during the live final of I'm A Celebrity ... South Africa - added the initial row left her in tears, saying: "Screaming F bombs and C bombs repeatedly in an angry and explosive way is abusive and aggressive. I had a good cry later on about it.

"I was thinking: ‘We’re all going to really regret this if one of them swings a punch and somebody gets hurt. Like, please make it stop'."
