Love Island star Charlie Frederick 'to find love' on Love Island: All Stars
It has been reported that 2018 Love Island star Charlie Frederick is doing the show's all-stars spin-off series, which begins on January 12.
Made in Chelsea star Charlie Frederick has reportedly signed up for Love Island: All Stars.
The Channel 4 reality TV show alum appeared on the 2018 series of Love Island, where he was coupled up with Hayley Hughes, 29, for days before they were dumped from the show's villa.
Now, it has been claimed that bosses have persuaded the 29-year-old hunky model - who made his debut in Made in Chelsea as the best friend of Sam Holmes in 2020 - to return to the villa to take part in the spin-off series of the ITV2 matchmaking show, which brings back memorable islanders from past series.
A source told The Sun: "Charlie’s been in the gym non-stop since he spoke to bosses about returning to the show.
"He went too early when he was on the 2018 series, the first time – this time he wants to find love!"
In an appearance on Love Island: Aftersun - a talk show that was hosted by the late Caroline Flack, in which she interviewed the contestants and got their insights about issues and individuals - with Hayley that year, Charlie thought he would have stayed on the show if he was not with her.
After hearing his comments, Hayley branded Charlie "bitter".
And then during an appearance on ITV's Lorraine shortly after, the pair refused to sit next to each other in the studio, to which Charlie said was because "we're just frosty cause I’m a bit gutted to be honest".
He added: "You just want to get your own piece across.
"I’m bitter and angry, not to her; I can't hold a grudge. It is what it is. I feel like I’ve been hard done by, and my chance has been taken away from me. It was so much fun, I’m missing it."
After host Lorraine Kelly, 66, jokingly told Charlie to "go away" so Hayley could come on and be interviewed, he said the situation was "so awkward" as he walked out of the studio.
Hayley - who came from the other side of the studio to avoid walking past Charlie - was quizzed about her relationship with him.
She said: "Maybe near the end, I was a bit cold. I think that is something I need to work on. If I’m not interested in someone or can't see it going any further, I pull away."
After the pair broke up, Charlie struck up a romance with Instagram model Natalie Clowes. He also dated 2019 Love Island stars Lucie Donlan, 27, and 34 year old Arabella Chi.
When Arabella and Charlie were dating, she did not tell him that she was doing the dating show.
He then accused her of lying to him on his Instagram Stories, in which Charlie penned: “Wow Love Island you wanna have my f****** life any more?!!!
"Both my exes in the villa f****** madness."
The third series of Love Island: All Stars kicks off on January 12.
The second series of Love Island: All Stars - which aired earlier this year - was won by Gabby Allen, 33, and her now ex-partner, 29 year old Casey O'Gorman.
