Talia Oatway rushed her son to the doctors following his terrifying first asthma attack.

Maddox, four, struggled to breathe and was "full-on shaking" as Talia desperately tried to get him to use his inhaler during the health horror on Sunday (28.12.25).

The tot - who is not diagnosed with asthma - was seen by his General Practitioner (GP), who gave Maddox steroids to reduce airway inflammation and swelling from causing further attacks, and was referred to the respiratory team at the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI), Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

In a video posted to her Instagram Stories on Monday (29.12.25), Talia - who also has sons Romeo, Six, and Oakley, three, with her 38-year-old ex-partner, Geordie Shore alum Aaron Chalmers - explained: "We've just been to the GP.

"Maddox has got steroids to take today and tomorrow, and then they're doing a referral to the respiratory team in the RVI, which Oakley is under anyway, so hopefully, I'll just get the same consultant."

The internet personality - whose son, Oakley, has Apert Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that causes fusion of the skull, hands and feet bones - continued: "Maddox isn't actually diagnosed with asthma, but because he's old enough now, they've done a referral. He's already got the brown and blue inhaler, but last night was really bad.

"We had to keep using the blue inhaler to try and get him to breathe, but he was just full-on shaking. It was horrible.

"But it's this time of year as well, it really affects him because when I asked the GP, on his medical records, 'When did he have the steroids last time?'

"And he's had them so many times, but especially last November and December."

In a previous Instagram Story that morning, Talia revealed Maddox's asthma attack came days after he, Romeo and Oakley came down with "bad coughs".

Writing over a photo of Maddox being driven to the doctors, Talia said: "My baby had an asthma attack last night (which he's never had before), the boys have had a bad cough for few days, but last night was shocking for my little man.

"He has a brown and blue inhaler. Hopefully get some steroids at the drs this morning. (sic)"
