Alex Scott claims that she had more "fun" on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! than was shown in the edit of the ITV reality show.

Alex Scott believes that "fun stuff" has been edited out of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.

The 41-year-old footballer-turned-broadcaster was the first contestant to be eliminated from the ITV reality series last week and didn't think the edit was a fair reflection of how much she enjoyed herself in the Australian jungle.

Speaking on Friday's (05.12.25) episode of ITV's Lorraine, Alex said: "It's me actually being out and learning what's been aired and what's been shown. I had so much fun, and that bit wasn't shown. I had so much fun. I was called the Games Master in there, the stuff I was doing with everyone.

"It's only an hour show so only so much can go into the edit but when I reflect, I wish more of the fun stuff, people had seen that side of me. I wanted them to see the more fun Alex Scott that they didn't see."

Alex wasn't greeted by her partner Jess Glynne at the I'm a Celebrity Bridge after her jungle exit and explained that she decided to head straight back to the UK as the Hold My Hand singer's mother has suffered a stroke.

The Football Focus presenter said: "I came out and saw that Jess wasn't at the end of the bridge, her mum has suffered a really bad stroke and had to have brain surgery so I had to rush home and be with my Jessica.

"She's in critical care at the moment so we've been at the hospital every day and straight after here we're heading straight there."

Alex continued: "It's been a tough time for us and obviously her family, and it was a tough decision to come into the jungle, but then Jess never wanted me to step away from not doing it.

"I knew there was always a possibility of her not being across the bridge, if her mum hadn't got better, or if things had been getting worse, which they have been. But it was a big decision for me to not pass this opportunity, and Jess was the one that pushed me to be here."

The former England defender predicts that either rapper Aitch or YouTube star Angry Ginge will be crowned King of the Jungle because they have had "all the airtime" – but is disappointed that viewers haven't seen more of former EastEnders star Shona McGarty.

Scott explained: "Ginge and Aitch have had all the airtime and everyone has seen them, but my special bond with Shona, I don't think the public have seen the real journey she's been on, she's spoken so much about her anxiety and her fun side but I don't think anyone has seen it.

"I want her to win but it's gonna be between the boys, isn't it?"
