I'm a Celebrity star Alex Scott wants to marry Jess Glynne
TV star Alex Scott has admitted that she'd love to tie the knot one day.
Alex Scott is waiting for Jess Glynne to propose to her.
The 41-year-old former sports star has been dating Jess, 36, since 2023, and Alex admits that she'd love to tie the knot one day.
During the latest episode of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, Alex shared: "I think before her, I never knew happiness."
The loved-up duo met at a restaurant back in May 2023, and Alex was immediately impressed by her future partner.
The TV star also recalled that they quickly fell "madly in love".
Alex said: "She approached me in Chiltern Firehouse…
"I was in there with my friends and she just walked up to me … It was really ballsy and I was like, ‘I like your ballsiness’.
"The spark was just instant and then yeah … we fell madly in love."
Alex has no doubt that she'll marry Jess one day.
Asked by fellow campmate Ruby Wax if marriage is on the cards, Alex replied: "I will get married to her ... just waiting for her to ask, Rubes!"
Meanwhile, Jess previously confessed that she's always made a concerted effort to keep her love life out of the spotlight.
During an appearance on the Happy Place podcast, Jess explained: "The work that I’ve done on myself has actually settled me inside and it’s allowed me to enter a relationship where I feel very comfortable and I’m just me. I’m unapologetically me.
"It has allowed me to be really happy in a new relationship. I think love is a really scary subject and it's normally something I keep quite distant.
"But it’s a nice thing to be able to embrace someone and a relationship that feels really genuinely good."
Despite this, Jess has still struggled dating another celebrity.
The I'll Be There hitmaker shared: "It’s something that I’m getting used to. I do love to somehow keep my personal life to myself. It’s so important.
"Even though we’re both in this public space, what we have, that’s ours. I feel like that’s something I will always do.
"People want so much from you and what is so beautiful is that we both feel like that way and it's something we will stick to and keep to ourselves."
