Alison Hammond reignites 15-year feud with I'm A Celeb co-star Shaun Ryder
Alison Hammond said her I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! 2010 co-star Shaun Ryder "hated my guts straight away for no reason" and "was very rude" when she did the ITV show.
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! 2010 star Alison Hammond has reignited her feud with "very rude" fellow series campmate Shaun Ryder.
TV presenter Alison, 50, said she and the Happy Mondays frontman clashed as soon as she entered the Australian-based jungle as a late arrival.
Appearing on the ITV show's spin-off programme, I'm A Celebrity... Unpacked on Sunday (16.11.25) night, Alison revealed: "When I went in there, I'll never forget, I walked in and said, 'The party's here,' with a Terry's Chocolate Orange, and everyone stared at me, and I was like, 'Oh my God.'
"And then Shaun Ryder hated my guts straight away for no reason. He was very rude, and so, hopefully, there's no Shaun Ryders in [this year's series]."
Comedian Leigh Francis - who was joined by Alison on I'm A Celebrity... Unpacked - jumped to his friend Shaun's defence, saying: "He's normally really lovely."
However, Alison shook her head in disagreement.
Leigh, 52, wondered if Shaun was "very rude" because he had been bitten by a snake in a terrifying Bushtucker Trial that saw the creature lock its jaws on the singer's hand.
However, Alison said that was not the case.
She added: "He took a dislike to me as soon as I went in there. It happens."
I'm A Celebrity... Unpacked host Joel Dommett, 40, was in disbelief about Alison's revelation.
He said: "I can't imagine that ever happening. How can anyone not like you?"
However, Alison thinks her bubbly character and being a late arrival made Shaun unhappy.
She said: "I think, sometimes, if you're a bit too loud, and when you go in halfway through, people don't like it."
In the 2010 series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, Shaun admitted he was annoyed about having to talk to another star when Alison entered camp.
In the Bush Telegraph, the star - who eventually finished as runner-up to winner, 36 year old TV personality Stacey Solomon - ranted: "Oh more f****** people in the camp. And a loud person and a cheery person as well,’ he ranted in the Bush Telegraph, referencing her outgoing personality.
"She’s probably a really nice person, don’t get me wrong. I like Alison.
"I like horse s***in the country but I don’t want it in my living room. I just don’t want to go through it. I’ve done f*** all for eight days except socialise. I’m about that far from f****** off."
Spandau Ballet bassist Martin Kemp, 64, TV personality Jack Osbourne, 40, comedienne Ruby Wax, 72, radio presenter Kelly Brook, 45, are taking part in this year's series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!.
Also, sports commentator Alex Scott, 41, Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley, 49, rapper Aitch, 25, and 24-year-old social media personality Morgan Burtwistle - known as Angryginge - are also in the jungle.
And former EastEnders actress Shona McCarty, 34, and comedian Eddie Kadi, 42, complete the initial list of this year's campmates, with late arrivals being confirmed in due course.
