Lisa Riley would take the gruesome Bushtucker Trials "hands-on" on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!.

The Emmerdale actress - who is rumoured to star in this year's series of the ITV jungle survival show - aims to get stuck in them to bag stars, which represent meals, for her campmates.

Speaking to Betway, Lisa, 49, said: "If I were to do anything regarding any of the tasks, then I am the sort of person who doesn’t overthink anything; I would just take it hands-on and tackle it."

To get through them and the jungle experience as a whole, the star would need to suck up her fears.

Lisa added: "There are various things I am scared of, and walking under ladders is one of them. It’s not just a case of [bugs and snakes], in life you can be scared of lots of things, and bad manners is a good one to be scared of."

With the rumour mill containing her name, Lisa thinks 2025 is the year to finally agree to do I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!.

She said: "Maybe it's the year when I really need to think about going in. I don’t know! But listen, they ask me every year – the carrot is always dangled.

"So, I’m not going to say yes or no, but all I can say is, maybe it is something I should think about doing after seeing all of the love for me going in or for potentially doing it is unbelievable.

"Maybe it’s something I should really think about in the future, and apparently, I would be the favourite to win it, or so they say."

Lisa - who would like to do the show either before turning 50 on July 13, 2026, or during her milestone birthday year - would join a host of rumoured big names when I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! starts on November 16.

These include media personality Jack Osbourne, 39, Spandau Ballet group member Martin Kemp, 64, comedienne Ruby Wax, 72, LBC broadcaster Nick Ferrari, 66, and former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, 34.

An ITV spokesperson has refused to be drawn on any of the names being linked with the programme.
