The 62-year-old singer - who dated the 66-year-old music mogul in the 1980s when she was signed to his label Fanfare Records - would love to see the Britain's Got Talent boss take part in the dreaded eating trials, munching on the likes of animal testicles, mealworms, and crickets, on ITV's Australia-based jungle survival show.
Sinitta - who did I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! in 2011 - exclusively told BANG Showbiz at the 2025 Variety Club Showbusiness Awards: "I'd love to see Simon do it. Could you imagine? Him doing the eating trials - hilarious!"
The So Macho hitmaker joked that she would vote for Simon to do the gruesome Bushtucker Trials to win stars - which represent meals - for camp every night.
Laughing, Sinitta - whose surname is Malone - quipped: "Payback!"
The music legend was coy when asked about rumours that she has signed up for the new series of I'm A Celebrity...South Africa.
It is the spin-off version of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, which sees the most memorable campmates from past seasons return to test themselves in tougher-than-ever Bushtucker Trials.
Sinitta said: "Would you like to see me in there?
"I don't think so! I can't be any worse than I was last time. But I don't know. I'm not sure I can comment on that."
An insider recently claimed that the Toy Boy singer is doing I'm A Celebrity...South Africa.
The source told The Sun: "Sinitta was a real scaredy cat when she took part 14 years ago, screaming her way through the Bushtucker Trials.
"So producers are keen to see if she has got any braver since.
"She is always hugely entertaining to watch, so viewers are in for a treat."
