Simon Cowell reveals why he had to miss 2 days of Britain's Got Talent auditions
Britain's Got Talent head judge Simon Cowell had to miss two days of show auditions after he "fell down some steps" and bumped his head, but he is "fine now".

Simon Cowell had to miss two days of Britain's Got Talent auditions after he "fell down some steps" and bumped his head.
The music mogul - who fainted and fell down the stairs of his home in 2017 - was replaced by TV presenter Stacey Solomon for the two Birmingham audition days earlier this month.
He's now cleared up the reason for his absence, explaining the situation to fellow BGT judge Amanda Holden after she made a joke about a choir of ambulance workers trying out for the ITV programme.
According to The Sun newspaper, Amanda said to Simon at the Blackpool auditions: "I thought they might be here in case anything went wrong with you again because you were poorly last week."
Simon replied: "I fell down some steps, that wasn’t poorly, and I bumped my head but I’m fine now.
"I wish you had been around a couple of weeks ago when I actually bashed my head.
"Seriously - no one sang for me then!"
Simon is said to be "absolutely fine" following his fall.
A source told the publication: "Simon bumped his head when he stumbled on some steps.
"It’s the sort of thing that can happen to anyone. And, thankfully, he’s absolutely fine now."
In 2017, Simon feared he had broken his neck after his fall that year.
He told The Sun at the time: "I was lying on my back thinking, ‘I hope I haven’t broken my neck’.
"But the NHS staff were the most amazing people I’ve ever met, genuinely. Fortunately it was all fine."
In 2020, Simon broke his back in an electric bike accident, and he admitted a few years later he was "so close" to spending his life in a wheelchair due to the horrific incident.
Speaking in 2023, he said: "I was so close to living the rest of my life in a wheelchair, it gives you a completely different outlook on life. In a positive way.
"It hurt - trust me - when it happened, but good things happened off the back of it.
"If I had to go through this all over again I actually would do it, because I think breaking my back was one of the best things that ever happened to me.
"I didn’t know really how unfit I was until I had to start doing all the exercises.
"But I feel better today than I did three years ago when it happened."
