Vicky Pattison didn't feel 'deserving' of her place on Strictly
Strictly Come Dancing star Vicky Pattison has admitted she didn't feel "deserving" of her place on such a "lovely and wholesome" show.

Strictly Come Dancing's Vicky Pattison didn't feel "deserving" of her place on such a "lovely and wholesome" show.
The former Geordie Shore regular, 37, has become the latest reality star to join the line-up of the BBC series - appearing alongside former Love Island winner Amber Davies - and Vicky has now confessed she didn't expect to ever get the call.
She told the Daily Mail newspaper: "I didn't think I was deserving of being on a show that's so lovely and wholesome."
Vicky added "the feeling of joy" when she was offered a place on the series was "wild".
She went on to admit Strictly has been a lot of hard work and she's still battling crippling nerves before every performance.
The TV star added: 'I'm obviously a really nervous person and struggle with being out of my comfort zone.
"I don't want to harp on about it because everyone's bored of hearing about my nerves but I am finding it hard and going through it with them is making it easier."
She added: "'It's hard work and I know I'm not down the mines, I don't want to come across as tone deaf. I'm not opposed to hard work ...
"[But training is] mentally exhausting as well, you're asking your brain to understand things it never has, and for a novice like me, that's overwhelming."
It comes after Vicky joked her husband wants her to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing because she's too tired for sex.
She said: "We've been together for nearly ten years and we have a really healthy relationship in every aspect. But it's just so hard. "You're so exhausted, you're training for many hours a day. I'm still working outside of this.
"I'm podcasting, doing all my social bits, I have just launched a clothing collection. Things are full on. So after a full day doing the Charleston you don't fancy going home and doing the mattress Mambo."
She added: "[Ercan's] having to be a little bit patient with us at the minute. I think he's potentially one of the only people in my inner circle, who's hoping I'm getting booted out."
