Jamie Laing says his wife Sophie Habboo is "doing amazing" amid her pregnancy.

The former Made in Chelsea star, 36, left eight-month-pregnant Sophie at home on Wednesday night (08.10.25) to co-host the 2025 Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards, powered by Jaguar, at London's Camden Roundhouse alongside singer-songwriter Mika, but he found time to issue an exciting update on his significant other.

When asked at the Attitude Awards how Sophie is doing, Jamie exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "She's very pregnant, but she's doing amazing. She's not here tonight."

Jamie also admitted Sophie has remained "totally cool and relaxed" throughout her pregnancy.

Quizzed on whether she found the pregnancy difficult to begin with, he said: "Uh … no, this is pregnancy, right?

"It's totally cool and relaxed. 100 per cent."

However, it hasn't all been plain sailing, as Jamie previously confessed he threatened to leave Sophie while she was expecting.

Sophie - who married Jamie in 2023 - said on the Nearly Parents podcast: "Jamie was like, 'Oh you're just milking it, you fake all your hormones, there's no such thing'.

"He went, 'Oh you're just faking all of this.'

"I feel really sick this day and Jamie gets his camera out and goes, 'I'm going to vlog today'. Like on my Sunday that I'm about to vomit all day long.

"And what happened was Jamie sits down and he goes, 'I'm going to call my friends and ask them what I should do about this. 'Because I'm going to have to leave you. I'm going to leave you because you're just so unbearable right now.' "

Jamie has since admitted he wasn't aware of the "wild" hormone changes women can experience while pregnant, but he is now "in awe" of what Sophie has been through.

He said: "The amount of people who are going to call me an a******. Just a caveat to add - I had no idea the emotional journey that you go on, how your body changes.

"I just didn't understand the extreme things that go on and since having read stuff on Instagram, I am awe of what you go through. The hormone change is wild."
