Only Fools and Horses star Patrick Murray dead
Patrick Murray - best known for playing Mickey Pearce in Only Fools and Horses - has died aged 68 following a battle with lung cancer.

Only Fools and Horses star Patrick Murray has died.
The actor - who played trader-and-double-glazing salesman Mickey Pearce in the legendary BBC sitcom from 1983 until 2003 - passed away following a battle with lung cancer aged 68.
On Thursday (02.10.25), a statement on an Only Fools and Horses fanpage read: "Patrick Murray.
"It is with heartfelt sadness that we report the death of our friend Patrick Murray - Mickey Pearce to so many.
"He was a regular attendee of our conventions, and we will miss his humour and the joy he brought to many."
Patrick is survived by his wife, Anong, and his daughter, Josie.
In 2021, Patrick was diagnosed with lung cancer.
The following year, he revealed he had been given the all-clear and that his cancer had been "cured" after he underwent chemotherapy and an operation to remove a cancerous tumour in October 2022.
Sadly, the sitcom star took to X - then called Twitter - in April 2023 to say that the cancer had returned and spread to other parts of his body.
He wrote: "Despite all the wonderful efforts by the medical and nursing teams at Medway, Guy's, and King's College hospitals, the lung cancer has returned.
"I thought I had a painful groin strain a couple of months ago, unfortunately, that turned out to be the cancer getting into my pelvis and leg bones.
"It has also entered my lymphatic system."
Despite the bad news, Patrick was determined to remain "positive", and he also mentioned that his oncologist felt "confident" that the treatment would keep things "in check" for a while.
He added: "What about the good news?
"I had radiology treatment last week, and my oncologist is fairly confident this will stop the leg pain, and I will be up and about again.
"Another positive is my consultant. He is confident that the chemo will keep things in check for months and even years
"His optimism comes not from kindness, of which I know he has in spades, but advances in cancer medicine.
"The genetic molecular tests are super precise, and the choice of meds can be made with much more confidence.
"I am feeling positive with my good wife’s awesome support."
Patrick - who was born in Greenwich, London, in December 1956 - had many acting credits to his name.
In 1977, he starred in the TV play Scum, and in a film of the same name two years later, with both projects seeing him work alongside 68-year-old actor Ray Winstone.
In 1979, Patrick appeared in the drama movie Quadrophenia - based on rock band The Who's 1973 rock opera of the same name - alongside 67-year-old singer Toyah Willcox, 66-year-old actor-and-musician Phil Daniels and 65-year-old actress Leslie Ash.
But his most notable role came in 1983, when he starred in Only Fools and Horses as "wheeler-dealer" Mickey Pearce.
Patrick played the character in 20 episodes of the BBC sitcom - written by the late John Sullivan.
Like Derek "Del Boy" Trotter (David Jason), Mickey dealt in black market goods.
However, Mickey was also known for his claims about his successes in business and with women.
After Only Fools and Horses ended in 2003, Patrick went on to star in other shows before he decided to become a taxi driver in Kent.
