Scarlett Moffatt and her family have argued over cushions.
The Gogglebox star is fronting a new campaign for Homesense,The Great Cushion Debate, and admitted her household are part of the 46% of Brits who have got into a debate over home interiors.
She said in a statement: "It’s so funny how something as simple as cushions can get people talking. Whether it’s how many you have on your bed, where they go, or even if you ‘chop’ them or not. I think we’ve all had these little home debates, which is why I love that Homesense is helping settle them. If you head to Homesense on Instagram you can have your say in the comments."
The research showed that the average number of cushions in a household is eight but a quarter of those surveyed admitted their pillow preferences have caused tension.
A staggering 79% of Brits have admitted to quietly readjusting cushions after someone else has arranged them, and nearly a third of Brits (29%) admit to removing or hiding a cushion that didn’t suit the aesthetic.
And it isn't only cushions causing conflict in the home as 71% admitted to turning off the 'big lights' after someone else turns them on, opting for lamps or fairylights instead.
