Peter Andre says "a lot can change" in the 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' jungle.
The 51-year-old singer famously met glamour model Katie Price in the days that she was known as Jordan during his time on the ITV show and ended up married to her from 2005 until 2009 but admitted that while some may have chosen a favourite, it is "too early to pick a winner" at this point.
Writing in his OK! Magazine column, he said: "I’ll be honest, I haven’t had a chance to watch any of I’m A Celebrity… yet, but everyone that I’ve spoken to says it is really good and that it opened with a bang. The trials sound difficult, too, so I reckon it could be the best series in years. I’m so happy to see Ant and Dec are still hosting – they’ve really built an incredible legacy for themselves. Plus, the show obviously has some great names in it, too, but it’s way too early to pick a winner. I know when I was in the jungle, anyone who was predicted to win at the start ended up not getting to the end. A lot can change in such a short time!"
The 'Mysterious Girl' hitmaker - who went on to have Junior, 19, as well as Princess, 17, with Katie but is now married to Emily MacDonagh and has Millie, 10, Theo, eight, and seven-month-old Arabella with her - finished in third place whilst Katie finished in fifth and Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona became Queen of the Jungle.
This year's edition of the Ant and Dec-fronted series features the likes of 'Loose Women' panellists GK Barry and Jane Moore as well as WAG Coleen Rooney and 'Coronation Street' actor Alan Halsall amongst a host of others.
