Mariah Carey has urged Lenny Kravitz to call her to discuss a collaboration.
Mariah Carey wants to collaborate with Lenny Kravitz.
The 57-year-old singer has made a public appeal for the American Woman hitmaker to "call" her about working together because she is such a big fan of his work.
During a Reddit AMA session, she told a fan who urged her to duet with Lenny: “I love Lenny too… Lenny if you’re seeing this, call me!”
The All I Want for Christmas hitmaker was also quizzed on her much-discussed unreleased grunge album, Someone's Ugly Daughter, and offered a "hint" as to when fans will finally get to hear it.
She wrote: “I get asked this about once a week. My answer is…#notyet (this is a hint!)”
Mariah first revealed in 2020 that she had made the grunge album back in 1995 and she previously admitted she is still keen to release it one day.
During an appearance on the Las Culturistas podcast in October 2024, host Matt Rogers asked the Fantasy singer: "Can you drop that grunge album?" and Mariah replied: "I know, right? I'm so mad that I haven't done that yet ... but who do I drop it with?"
