Swifties have been busy once again, this time voting for their favourite surprise song mashups performed by Taylor Swift on her record breaking 'Eras Tour'.

The poll took place on the fan-run app 'Swift Alert' , an app designed by Swifties, for Swifties that provides fans with games, updates and all things Taylor. The result? A top 10 list of the best surprise song mashups, as chosen by the fans.

Taylor has brought her 'Eras Tour' to stadiums across five continents, and it will finally come to an end when she plays the BC Place sports stadium on December 8.

One of the most anticipated moments during the performance is when Swift performs her "surprise songs", blending tracks that don't appear on her usual three-hour setlist to keep the fans on their toes. Here are the top 10 mashups, as voted on by Swifties.

10. Would've, Could've, Should've (Midnights) x I Know Places (1989)

This emotive coupling of 'Midnights' track 'Would've, Could've, Should've' and the more frantic 'I Know Places' from '1989' left fans in awe. The former explores the trauma of a past relationship, with 'I Know Places' capturing a sense of urgency and secrecy, a combination that resonated deeply with the audience.

9. Come Back... Be Here (Red) x Daylight (Lover)

The long-distance longing of 'Come Back... Be Here' from 'Red' meshed beautifully with 'Daylight' a softer, more hopeful track from 2019's 'Lover' about emerging from the darkness of past relationships into a new, healing, light kind of love. The emotional weight of this mashup left fans teary eyed.

8. All of the Girls You Loved Before (Lover) x Crazier (Hannah Montana Soundtrack)

This playful, unexpected combo mixed the sweet 'Lover' deep cut, 'All of the Girls You Loved Before' with 'Crazier', a song Swift wrote for the Hannah Montana movie. Swift’s cheeky blend of lyrics at the end, in which she sings "I love you more / 'Cause I'm crazier," delighted the audience, making this combo one of the tour’s most charming surprises.

7. The Archer (Lover) x You’re On Your Own, Kid (Midnights)

Both introspective and candid, 'The Archer' and 'You’re On Your Own, Kid' came together to create a powerful and emotional moment. The pairing highlighted Swift's vulnerability as she shared her anxieties and fears, while ultimately reassuring her fans that they can face life’s challenges alone and still succeed.

6. The Bolter (The Tortured Poets Department) x Getaway Car (Reputation)

Two fast-paced tracks that share a common theme: The need to escape.

'The Bolter' from 'The Tortured Poets Department' and 'Getaway Car' from 'Reputation' electrified the audience

Fans had eagerly anticipated this mashup, and Swift didn’t disappoint as she brought the energy of both tracks to life on stage.

5. Out of the Woods (1989) x Is It Over Now (1989) x Clean (1989)

A 1989 (Taylor’s Version) tribute, this mashup of three fan favourites - 'Out of the Woods', 'Is It Over Now', and 'Clean' - celebrated the album’s anniversary with a guitar-driven medley. Fans joined together in celebration of the album with this Mashup, with those in attendance of the show joking online "We Won!" In excitement of hearing all three live.

4. Mary’s Song (Taylor Swift) x So Highschool (The Tortured Poets Department) x Everything Has Changed (Red)

This nostalgic and light hearted mashup blended themes of youthful innocence, the passage of time as well as new love. 'So Highschool' from 'The Tortured Poets Department' paired perfectly with 'Mary’s Song', a track from Swift’s self-titled debut album -released when Swift herself was in Highschool- and 'Everything Has Changed from Red'. The combination created a reflective journey through the highs and lows of growing up and falling in love.

3. The Lakes (Folklore) x I Hate It Here (The Tortured Poets Department)

Emotions soared as 'The Lakes' from 'Folklore' merged with 'I Hate It Here' from 'The Tortured Poets Department'. Both songs explore the desire to escape the harshness of reality, providing a heartfelt and relatable moment for the audience.

2. Haunted (Speak Now) x Exile (Folklore)

A haunting mashup in every sense, 'Haunted' from Speak Now and 'Exile' from 'Folklore' both capture the pain of a relationship’s breakdown. The intense emotion of these two tracks combined created one of the most dramatic and memorable mashups of the tour.

1. You’re On Your Own, Kid (Midnights) x Long Live (Speak Now)

Unsurprisingly, this fan-favourite mashup topped the list. 'Long Live', a tribute to Swift’s fans from album 'Speak Now', combined with 'You’re On Your Own, Kid', a reflective track from 'Midnights' that inspired the friendship bracelet trend at the tour. This mashup was a love letter to Swifties, celebrating the community they’ve built together over the years.

With more shows to come before the tour wraps in December, fans can look forward to even more surprises from Taylor Swift. One thing’s for sure - she knows how to keep her audience guessing.
