Billie Beever thinks money she makes from OnlyFans should be tax-free because so many people say it's not a "real job".

The online model - who is based in Australia - says she's constantly trolled by haters who tell her to give up sex work and find proper employment - and she says that if her job isn't considered real then she shouldn't have to pay tax on her earnings.

She told Yahoo: "Every day we all get hate messages saying what we do isn't a real job, and we should go get a real job. So if that's true and the public really think that, we shouldn't pay taxes then, especially when we pay so much more than most people."

"Also, why should we have to pay tax on our body parts if I choose to use them to make money?”

Billie went on to insist many OnlyFans stars who boast about their huge earnings from the site aren't telling the whole truth - because the money they make is massively cut down by their tax bill and the cut paid to site administrators.

She explained: "The more these girls talk about how much they're making, the less true it usually is. Usually just half what they say they're making and that's closer to the truth, then half it again because of tax and OnlyFans' cut."

A number of OnlyFans stars have been hit with huge tax bills including Tasha Paige, who shared her shock on TikTok after she was hit with a $176,000 bill.

She explained: "'My tax bill is actually $150,000 for the last 12 months ... not including the $26,000 I need to pay on top of that for GST [Goods and Services Tax] because apparently my body is an object – that's why I have to pay GST now. My actions, everything I've done in this past year, it's cost me this much money.

"If I don't laugh I'm gonna cry. I've started vaping again because it hurts."
