Fashion designer Michael Kors has shared his top tip for looking stylish all year round - revealing the secret is to invest wisely in a good quality piece that can be used in all seasons.

The designer has admitted he hates "disposability" in the fashion industry and he's adamant that buying one expensive piece that can be used in all seasons is a better for the planet and makes much more financial sense.
He told The Sunday Times: "[I would get rid of] disposability in fashion. I’ve always believed one of the greenest things you can do is buy something that you are going to wear for years to come.
"And I think people are starting to realise that if you buy something that you can style one way in the winter and one in the summer, or that you can dress up or down, it’s not only a better investment, it’s better for the world too."
However, Michael doesn't follow his own advice when it comes to buying sunglasses and admits he owns more than 100 pairs of the same style.
He explained: "Aviators. I have over 100 pairs. The obsession began when I was 14 years old and saw photographs of Steve McQueen and the original jet-setters of that time wearing them.
"They add instant glamour and a little mystery to any look. They’re a sure-fire confidence builder."
In the interview Michael also revealed where he buys his socks - Muji and Charvet - and opened up about his grooming routine, revealing he uses moisturisers by Kiehl's, Glossier's Boy Brow Volumizing Eyebrow Gel-Pomade and La Mer lip balm.
He also revealed he's not fussy about getting ready and can get himself out the door in under 45 minutes because he's "fairly low maintenance
