Taylor Swift has sparked a surge in demand for glitter freckles after wearing them to a football game this week.

The 34-year-old pop star turned out to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce when his team Kansas City Chiefs took on the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Monday night (07.10.24) and she wore the Chief's red and white colours across her face in the form of Fazit's Red Speckles Makeup Patches.

Now Fazit Beauty co-founder Aliett Buttelman has revealed Taylor surge in demand of 1,000 per cent, telling WWD.com: "In the last 12 hours, sales and web traffic have skyrocketed by over 1,000 per cent. Urban Outfitters sold out yesterday, and now, every retailer is reaching out to us."

Fazit's Makeup Patches sell for $15.99 and come in colours including silver, purple, red, gold, and rose gold. They are applied like a temporary tattoo and are easily removed.

A post on the brand's Instagram page stated: "We’re feeling all the emotions today! Seeing our glitter freckles featured in so many press articles after Taylor Swift rocked them is beyond a dream come true!

"What started as a small idea is now in the spotlight, and it wouldn’t have been possible without YOU, our amazing community. We’re just getting started, and the future is shining brighter than ever."

Taylor's fans are often quick to snap up products worn by their idol and items she wears often sell out quickly.

The singer previously sparked a surge in demand for denim shorts after she was seen wearing a crystal-encrusted pair to a Chiefs game in October last year - with the design by Area swiftly selling out.

She also prompted a sell-out of a Chiefs-branded windbreaker jacket from Wear by Erin Andrews after wearing it to another game last year.
