Kendra Wilkinson is 'not trying to be sexy' or 'Playboy' in her 40s
Kendra Wilkinson has opened up about her approach to aging.
Kenda Wilkinson has insisted she's "not trying to be sexy" as she gets older.
The 41-year-old star, who celebrated her birthday last month, is focusing on "changes that suit" her and her children, rather than trying to live up to her past as a Playboy model.
Taking to her Instagram Story, she wrote: "I'm ok aging. I'm ok not being young Kendra anymore.
"I'm not playboy anymore. I am not trying to be sexy. Dating and men aren't on fourfront of my mind.
"Looking exactly how i want and loving myself exactly how i am is where im at. Finding gratitude and peace everyday is my objective. (sic)"
In other posts, Kendra opened up on the "journey" she has been on to get to where she is in her own mind.
She added "Loving ME and exactly who I am and turning into. Had to get through the 'what do people want from me' to get here.
"Making changes that suit me only and my kids...
"Beyond proud of my journey and where I'm at now and my kids are beyond amazing!!! (sic)"
Kendra has kids Hank Randall IV, 14, and Alijah Mary, 12, with her ex-husband Hank Baskett III.
Earlier this year, Kendra hit back at a social media critics who claimed she aged "poorly".
She wrote: "I’m ok with aging 'poorly'. For some reason I’m happier than I’ve ever been lately even with a little weight gain and wrinkles and I’m not going to tie my happiness again into the negative energy."
Kendra described herself as a "balanced, single, positive, fun woman who loves life".
She added: “I hope that i can manage this feeling forever now after working hard to get here to this place.
“I was verrrry young when i started tv and lived a crazy chaotic 20 years of impressing others but now it’s about ME. Giving back to ME. Even with less money and Way less fame."
Kendra moved into the Playboy Mansion when she was just 18 years old, and went onto star on various reality shows, including The Girls Next Door.
In March, she revealed she had turned to GLP-1 medication in a bid to fit into her jeans.
She told Us Weekly: "There’s nothing worse than being in a gym every single day, working out and not seeing any progress.
"I hit 40. I’m happy. I’m at peace, but I noticed that my jeans are a little tighter lately, so I don’t want to go out and shop anymore. Mama is on a budget, so I have to fit back in my jeans. So I actually signed up for a shot company that will be delivering my shot next week. So I’ll start my journey next week."
