Gisele’s Father’s Day tribute leaves ex Tom out of family spotlight
The supermodel shared a heartfelt message celebrating husband Joaquim Valente’s role within the family, accompanied by intimate photographs featuring their young son and her children from her previous marriage.
Gisele Bündchen has been accused of “snubbing” her ex Tom Brady as she paid tribute to husband Joaquim Valente on Father’s Day.
The supermodel, 45, shared intimate family photographs on Sunday (21.06.26) along with a heartfelt message celebrating jiu-jitsu instructor Jacques’ role in her family life while making no mention of former husband Tom.
Gisele posted a series of photographs on Instagram showing Joaquim spending time with the couple’s infant son, born in January 2025, as well as Vivian and Benjamin, her children with former NFL quarterback Tom.
Her post prompted headlines it was a “snub” to Tom and comes several months after reports Gisele and Joaquim had quietly married and more than two years after the model’s high-profile divorce from Tom, ending one of the most closely watched relationships in sport and entertainment.
Gisele wrote in her caption on Sunday: “Happy Father’s Day @joaquimvalente!
“Thank you for leading by example, and for the values you embody, love, humility, integrity, discipline, kindness and consistency.
“You are an incredible role model. We are all so grateful for you, and we love you so much.”
She also paid tribute to her late father, Valdir Bündchen.
Gisele added: “Thank you for your unconditional love, wisdom, and support through every stage of my life.
“Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there.”
The accompanying images showed Joaquim interacting with members of the family, including one photograph of Vivian embracing him while he sat in a chair and another showing him standing back-to-back with Benjamin.
The post marks another public glimpse into Gisele’s life with Joaquim, who she began dating after the breakdown of her marriage to Tom.
They have largely kept their relationship private since it became public, although reports emerged in late 2025 the pair had secretly married.
Gisele remains one of the most recognisable figures in the fashion industry, having enjoyed a decades-long modelling career that established her as one of the world's highest-profile supermodels.
In recent years she has increasingly focused on environmental causes, wellness projects and family life following her departure from full-time runway work.
Tom, meanwhile, remains one of the most celebrated figures in American football history.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion retired from the NFL in 2023 after a career spanning more than two decades with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Since retirement, Tom has continued his broadcasting career and remained a prominent public figure through his business ventures and media appearances.
The Father’s Day tribute came little more than a month after Tom shared his own public message for Mother’s Day, which included photographs of Gisele alongside their children.
Tom wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers in this world.”
Among the images was a photograph of Gisele with Benjamin and Vivian, as well as another showing her alongside Tom’s eldest son Jack and the teen’s mother, actress Bridget Moynahan.
Tom and Gisele were married from 2009 until 2022.
They continue to co-parent Benjamin and Vivian following their divorce.
The name of Gisele and Joaquim’s son has not been publicly disclosed.
