MasterChef judge Anna Haugh is returning for second series of hit BBC show
Anna Haugh is "so excited to be back home" for her new series.
Anna Haugh is returning for a second series of her Big Irish Food tour on the BBC.
The MasterChef judge and celebrity chef is "so excited" to be exploring towns across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland for the upcoming episodes, visiting everywhere from Donegal to Dublin.
She said: “I’m so excited to be back home. It’s a real privilege to travel around this beautiful island to meet the food producers passionate about their produce, and to cook with some of the best ingredients.
“I’ll be sea fishing for mackerel and brown crab off the coast of Donegal, discovering artisan cheese producers in County Londonderry, and helping with the vegetable harvest in Dublin.
“And of course, joining me on my journey will be some special guests who’ll be giving me a hand and sharing food stories of their own. This is certainly going to be another big Irish food tour!”
The new series for BBC Northern Ireland will see her joined by a famous guest in each location, with a cast featuring singer Daniel O’Donnell, Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, Hope Street actress Tara Lynne O’Neill, boxing champion Barry McGuigan, and television personality Coleen Nolan.
Across the series, she will visit Co Londonderry, Co Down, Co Donegal, Co Monaghan and Co Dublin

"She’s a natural presenter who has a wonderfully relaxed way with her celebrity guests, as well as with the various food producers she meets along the way.
“We hope audiences enjoy seeing what stops she makes on her tour this time and, of course, what delicious recipes she cooks up in the kitchens she visits.”
The first series, which aired in 2025 on BBC Northern Ireland and BBC Daytime, featured guest stars like Katherine Ryan, Carl Frampton, Angela Scanlon, Bundee Aki, Ed Byrne and Vanessa Feltz.

Anna and Grace Dent took over from aced judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode for the 22nd season of MasterChef earlier this year.
Before the episodes aired, she told The One Show: "Honestly, nothing prepared me for how I was going to feel on this show.
"You know, being a professional chef, I thought these will be amateurs, they will cook and it'll be, you know, good but my goodness, some of them cook as if they're professional chefs.
"But what you really see in the show is that this means something to them - this matters. This could be life changing and as long as they keep pushing themselves, they'll fulfil their potential."
