Ludacris insists his kids listen to "clean versions" of his hit songs.

The chart-topping rap star - who has Karma, 25, with Christine White, and Cai, 12, with Tamika Fuller, as well as Cadence, ten, and Chance, five, with his wife Eudoxie Bridges - has revealed that his children are allowed to listen to his records on one strict condition.

Ludacris, 48, told Us Weekly: "There’s all types of parental advisory. You gotta listen to the clean versions of even my songs, clean versions."

Despite this, Ludacris doesn't have any objection to the idea of his daughters following in his footsteps in the music business.

He said: "I want them to pursue whatever dreams that they have. They love, matter of fact, one of them loves KATSEYE."

Ludacris has enjoyed huge success as a musician and as an actor. However, he's always been determined to strike a healthy work-life balance.

The Fast and Furious star explained: "If I perform somewhere, it’s like if I’m there for two or three days, I’ve got to go home. So I make sure I have that 50/50 balance, really more like 80/20 balance.

"I’ve got to be with the family 80 percent and I work 20 percent. That’s why I worked so hard all this time to afford myself the time with my family."

Meanwhile, Ludacris previously revealed that he works out "five or six days a week".

The rapper has a diligent approach to his health and wellbeing, admitting that he works out most days.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Ludacris explained: "I try to [work out] at least five or six days a week. Some of those days it might be … with my trainer [and] in person.

"One way or another, I’ve tried to get it in, definitely at least five or six days a week."

Ludacris explained that he focuses on different parts of his body on different days.

The Stand Up hitmaker shared: "You have one day for arms and back legs - and I think that the bigger the muscle group, the more you can, kind of, eat on that particular day.

"That’s how you plan everything out, but that would be the best way. You got to plan out the workouts and plan out the meals."
