Noah Schnapp has graduated from university.

The Stranger Things actor had been studying for a business degree, with a minor in film, at the University of Pennsylvania's prestigious Wharton School and on Monday (18.05.26), he took to Instagram to reveal he has completed his studies.

Noah shared a photo of himself in his cap and gown with twin sister Chloe and their parents Karine and Mitchell Schnapp, while another image featured the 21-year-old star in front of the commencement stage. There was also a video of his name being called out as he walked on the stage to accept his diploma.

Referencing a line from Legally Blonde, Noah captioned the post: "What, like it’s hard???"

Noah enrolled in college in 2022 and previously explained he opted to study business because he had just launched his now-defunct sustainability-focused snacking company, TBH, and his initial choice of acting felt "repetitive".

He told Flaunt magazine: "I was thinking of going for acting. [But] acting was just kind of repetitive, and I wanted to try something new… I thought it would make more sense to do something different. And business was a pretty clear next thing for me."

He initially opted to live in a dorm with other students in a bid to enjoy the "real experience".

He told Teen Vogue at the beginning of his course: "Oh my god, it's been awesome. I love it here and it's great to be meeting new people, meeting new faces, and building a new network and becoming a part of a new community. It's such a big transition, probably the biggest transition I'll ever have to make in my life, but it's very exciting.

"I'm just looking forward to learning a lot… [and] becoming more independent. I feel that's a huge part of college. Learning how to live separately from your parents and as your own person. I'm excited to become an adult a little bit."

Noah was always aware he'd have to switch to virtual classes when needed on the Stranger Things set but felt it was important to prioritise his education.

He told The Hollywood Reporter last year: "Growing up, education was always so important. Even on set, I went through so many different teachers.

"My parents were like, 'He's not being educated well enough. He needs a math [teacher] and a different English teacher.

"It was never really a question whether I would go to college or not, just more of what I would study. I knew I wanted to be an actor, but I wasn’t rushing it. I wanted to have my childhood and get all those experiences first before rushing into everything and losing the sense of normal life."
